(click to enlarge)In these days of almost omnipresent advertisements (not to mention product placement, movie tie-in merchandise, “global branding”, and corporate sponsored sports stadiums) it’s hard to believe that there was ever a time when the idea of advertising was a new one and people were skeptical of its effectiveness.
